Toronto Police Press Release: [TPS] - Man injured in attempt escape from correctional facility
On Sunday, April 30, 2006, at approximately 1:20 a.m., police were called to a correctional facility at 330 Keele Street for an injured man. It is alleged that the accused tied several bedsheets together and climbed out of the second−floor window of the facility where he lost his grip and fell approximately 25 feet to the pavement. The accused, Paul Martin Browne suffered two broken heels and a shattered vertebrae. He was taken to hospital with non−life−threatening injuries.
