TheStar.com - Five face telemarketing charges: OTTAWA — The Competition Bureau has charged five individuals and three companies in a multi-million-dollar, 10-year telemarketing scam that operated in Canada and the United States.
Charges were laid against Judy Neinstein, 62, of Toronto, Bernard Fromstein, 54, of Oakville, Ont; Paul Barnard, 54, of Ajax, Ont., and James Sharo, 56, and George Pavlopoulos, 35, both of St-Hubert, Que.
