Vehicle pursuit - Two men face 15 charges - Firearm Seized

Toronto Police Service :: To Serve and Protect: "Vehicle pursuit, Two men face 15 charges, Firearm seized, 51 Division

In the early hours of Saturday, June 10, 2006, police attended the Parliament Street/Gerrard Street East area for reports of two men armed with a gun in a grey Honda Accord.

It is alleged that:

- police spotted the suspect vehicle and attempted to stop the car in the Mount Pleasant Road/Elm Avenue area,

- the suspect vehicle sped off northbound reaching speeds of approximately 160 km/h,

- the suspect vehicle was eventually stopped and two men were arrested without further incident,

- a .45 calibre pistol and six rounds of ammunition were seized.

Clive Masters, 31, of Toronto, were charged with carious weapons and driving offences.

Both men appeared in court at Old City Hall on Saturday, June 10, 2006.
