CANOE -- CNEWS - Law: Reputed Montreal mobster faces U.S. charges after losing extradition battle: "NEW YORK (CP) - After losing a two-year extradition fight in Canada, a reputed godfather of the Montreal Mafia was taken into FBI custody on Thursday to face charges in connection with the killings of three U.S. mobsters in 1981, authorities said.

Vito Rizzuto, 60, was ordered held without bail after pleading not guilty to racketeering conspiracy charges in federal court in Brooklyn."
