Toughen up Criminal Code, B.C. says: TheStar.com | Canada |
VANCOUVER – British Columbia's solicitor general says gang violence will escalate if the federal government doesn't toughen up the Criminal Code to deal with offences such as last week's murder of six people in a Surrey, B.C., apartment.
I know this is kind of unrelated, but do you know if anyone has even been charged under section 68 of the Criminal Code, where not dispersing after the Riot Act has been read could result in life in prison?
I've recently found out about this part of the Criminal Code, but can't find a case where someone's been charged with this crime.
